Things You Should Know

  1. The Conference is at The Solution Center, Brighton Hall, Suite 200, 1101 Slater Rd, Durham, NC 27703
  2. If you haven’t already done so, please read our policies.
  3. Free parking is available around the building in the Brighton Hall lot. Do not park in the Danbury Hall parking lot.
  4. Food: Continental breakfast, lunch, all day snacks in the Café break area, and post-conference Networking Happy Hour beer and wine are included in your registration fee.
  5. Meeting rooms can vary in temperature. Be sure to bring a sweater.
  6. The schedule in the printed program.  It’s the key! Check it out so you can decide which sessions you’d like to attend. Write in titles and rooms of the Design-Your-Own sessions.
  7. Be sure to visit the exhibits. Our sponsors have been very generous, and they want to show you the services they offer for nonprofits.  Stop by and learn how they might be able to help your organization.
  8. Help welcome new-comers by following the Pac-Man Rule: When standing as a group of people, always leave room for one person to join your group.
  9. Help create a record of the conference. To comment directly on session pages: go to www.nct4g.org/2019-schedule/, click a session title and add your comments below the session description. If you write about the conference on your blog, send tweets, post photos or videos, please use our hashtag #19nct4g. Also let us know about your online posts (blogs, photos, video) by sending an email to info@nctech4good.org or posting to @nctech4good on Twitter or Facebook.
  10. For the Networking Happy Hour, we’ll have beer and wine. Snacks will still be available in the Café break area. Stay for the networking! The Solution Center closes at 6:00 pm. You can continue conversations at a local restaurant.
  11. Bring business cards. You’re going to meet a lot of interesting people. This is more than a Conference, it’s a network. You’ll get out of it, what you put in!
  12. We’re raffling off a 2020 NCTech4Good Conference registration during the Happy Hour. If you bring business cards, do use one to enter the drawing. We’ll have entry forms you can use if you don’t “do” business cards any longer. You must be present to win!
  13. If you need a hotel for the evening(s), here is the Solution Center’s information about their hotel partners.
NCTech4Good, an affiliate of NTEN and TechSoup’s NetSquared, is the local resource for nonprofit technology information. Join the sharing and networking at monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of the month, 6:30-8:30 p.m. usually at UNC-TV, and our annual conference, https://www.nct4g.org/. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter @nctech4good, and with the hashtag #nct4g.
