We talked about the technology that makes companies like Amazon, Netflix and Google successful: data science. It enables organizations to understand customers’ needs, predict demand to design more effective programs and optimize allocation of resources. We discussed several examples demonstrating the impact of data science on social good organizations. Also discussed our local skills-based volunteer program: NC Data4Good.
