The NCTech4Good Conference allows you the opportunity to add a session to the schedule the day of the conference – giving you complete control to discuss topics that matter most to you and your organization. It offers pre-selected sessions, as well as an unconference format that encourages participants to create sessions the day of the event to solve real-time needs.
During the opening session of the conference, Ruby Sinreich will lead us through the unconference process. See Ruby’s description of how the process works. In summary, people will give pitches for additional sessions they’d like to lead. We’ll vote on the new proposals. Those session topics with the most votes will be assigned rooms and run concurrently with the pre-selected sessions. We call these new sessions Design-Your-Own (DYO) sessions. There are two rooms available for DYO sessions for each of the presentation time slots.
If you’d like to present, you’ll need to come to the conference as an attendee, prepared to pitch the session and lead the session if it is selected. Each selected DYO session will be added to the online conference schedule on Tuesday morning.
